Abstract
When you think website performance you might be thinking about what is going on behind the web server. You might think about code optimization, database call reduction, data caching, etc... But have you ever thought about how much the front end of your website can hurt its performance? In this presentation we are going to look at a handful of strategies that will help you create a better experience for your users. Come see how easy it can be to reduce page size, cut down on latency, and make your website load and render faster.

When do you meet?
The Richmond .NET Group meets the first Thursday of every month. We occasionally change this if there is a holiday, but we give you plenty of warning if we do!
What time is the meeting?
The meetings start at 6:30 PM. People tend to start arriving around 6 PM to get some food and chat with friends and the meeting sponsor.
