Abstract

Are you amazed at how rapidly the .NET ecosystem is growing? Every day it seems there’s a new framework for .NET that does something amazingly cool and new. There’s just no possible way to keep up with them all. And nowhere is this more true than in the area of Inversion of Control (IoC) and Dependency Injection (DI). Even if you know a lot about DI and IoC, you may not be familiar with some of the frameworks out there that allow you to separate concerns in your .NET code. During this presentation, Kevin will show you some of the more popular IoC containers available for .NET. Along the way, you’ll learn why DI is such an important design pattern because of how it enables loose coupling, agility and better testing. You’ll also discover which of these IoC frameworks allows you to graduate to Aspect-Oriented Programming (AOP). If you don’t know much about IoC, DI and AOP right now, don’t worry about that. This should be a great discussion for novices and experts alike. The best way to learn is to play. So, let’s play with IoC!
