Abstract

Many of the tools we use to develop applications in .Net are designed to make us more productive, abstracting what goes on "under the hood" so that the Common Language Runtime and the Common Intermediate Language are no more than accroyms to us. We don't really look in that black box and see what is going on with our code. The presentation will see to demystify the CLR and the CIL, and see how we can leverage the CLR to help us write better code.
